5 people struck by taxis in separate incidents

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --

 

Five people were struck by taxis in two separate incidents early Sunday in State College.

 

The Centre County Times reported on Monday that two people were transported to a hospital when they were struck at the intersection of South Pugh Street and East Fairmount Avenue just after midnight Sunday.

 

A third person was also struck by the taxi, but was not injured.

 

About two hours later, two people were struck by a taxi at East College Avenue and South Garner Street. The Times reported that those two people crossed the street against a traffic signal.
