SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. —
A Somerset County woman who is an Air Force veteran herself has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $4,000 from the Somerset County Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans.
Tuesday's Daily American reported that 39-year old Lorrie Fisher, of Friedens, entered the plea on Monday to one count of theft.
Chapter members said Fisher wrote checks to herself from the chapter's account when she served as bookkeeper in 2010.
Fisher faces up to seven years in prison.
