Aloona-Blair County Airport Losing Money By The Minute

The Altoona-Blair County Airport could lose

out on one (m) million dollars for safety improvements because the

number of passengers going through the airport has been cut in half

since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Before the attacks, about

14-thousand people used the airport for connecting flights in

Pittsburgh or charter flights. Last year, about 67-hundred people

used the airport.
