Officials say the number of people flying
out of the Altoona-Blair County Airport will be down by about 40
percent this year because an anticipated surge in Thanksgiving
holiday travelers didn't happen. In all, more than 5,200
passengers used the airport from November 30th. That's down by
about three-thousand compared to the same time period in 2002.
