BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. —
An Altoona man is in jail on accusations he raped a woman at gunpoint.
Police said Daniel Markel sent a text message to a woman to pick him up at the Logan Valley Mall.
According to a criminal complaint, the woman began to drive Markel home when he made her drive to Federal Park.
Police said Markel then held a gun to her head and sexually assaulted her.
Markel is being held in jail on $50,000 bond.
