Police in Altoona are sorting through the evidence left behind at a murder scene. They're hoping it will lead them to the killer.
The body of Warren Kyper was found inside a home along 3rd avenue on Sunday. Police believe that he was attacked and hit in the back of the head sometime Saturday night. The evidence they collected at the crime scene is being sent to state police in Greensburg for processing. Altoona police say it could be weeks before test results on that evidence are returned.
