Altoona Residents To Pay More For Water, Sewage Fees

Related

Starting in January, some Blair County residents will be shelling out more to pay their sewer bills.

The Altoona Water Authority approved a 10 percent hike in sewer rates and a 4 percent increase for water rates.

According to the Altoona Mirror, the increases mean the average customer will pay about $10 more a month.

The money will cover the cost of renovations to the Easterly Altoona Wastewater Treatment Facility.
