The store was put out of service after fire destroyed the building in April 2006.
The Sheetz store there has been a staple in the community for nearly 25 years.
In the meantime, residents in St. Mary's, Elk County, got their first Sheetz store on Thursday, making it only the second Sheetz in the county.
Sheetz demolished nine downtown buildings to make room for the new store, which is located along state Route 120.
