Altoona Store Robbed Twice In Two Weeks

For the second time in as many weeks, an Altoona convenience store has been hit by an armed robber.

The Altoona Mirror reports that a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt walked into the Fe-Fi's store on Seventh Avenue, said he had a gun, and demanded money.

The store's owner said the man made off with a small amount of cash.

Police thought they had the robber cornered in a nearby garage, but he escaped.

Ten days ago, the same store was robbed at knifepoint.
