Ambulance collides with car in Cambria Co.

By WJAC Web Staff

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

An ambulance stopped a foot away from hitting a house after it was involved in a collision with a car in Ferndale.

The crash happened at the intersection of Franklin Street and Hystone Avenue. Neighbors said they saw a patient in the back of the ambulance but it was not clear as of noon if anyone was injured by the collision.

Neighbors said the car was coming down the hill of Hystone when it hit a Somerset ambulance. The ambulance was then pushed onto the front yard of a house.

People who live in that section said this isn’t the first time a vehicle had come close to hitting them or their houses.
