Apparent Kidnapping Of High School Student

There is a disturbing story to pass along to you, involving an apparent kidnapping of a high school student by one of her teachers. Cambria County authorities tell Channel 6 News a teacher from Bishop McCort High School apparently committed suicide in Canada early Thursday, as Canadian authorities were closing in a hotel room where he was staying. Canadian police were helping Johnstown police investigate the disappearance of a teenage girl from the city, who was apparently traveling with the man. Details are still sketchy, but we'll have more on this breaking news story on Channel 6 News starting at 5pm.
