Are Clinic May Shut Down If Funds Aren't Made Available

Administrators are still seeing what can be done to provide financial help for a rural health clinic in our area.

Operators of the Mountaintop Medical Clinic, in Snow Shoe, say if they don't get a financial lifeline soon, they may have to close their doors by the end of November. The number of clinic patients is increasing, but several funding grants have been delayed. The clinic has asked the Centre County Commissioners for help. County leaders aren't sure yet what assistance they can offer.
