Blair County —
The head basketball coach at a Blair County school no longer has a job. In a six to three decision, the Williamsburg School Board voted to take head coach Dave Cadle's job because of personal reasons. Published reports suggest there were some internal or disciplinary problems. Coaches from Bellwood and Penns Valley, as well as many current and former students spoke on Cadle's behalf.
"I'm disappointed. I love coaching. I love these kids and I'm going to continue to love these kids, I just won't be coaching, said Cadle.
Cadle said he has no immediate plans to coach in any other school.
