Students from Ferndale Middle School went home early this morning... not because the roads were impassable, but because it was just too cold inside the building. That's because their boiler is malfunctioning. When school officials realized they couldn't fix the problem quickly, they things in motions to get the kids back to their warm homes. School is expected to resume as scheduled on Thursday morning.
