ATA will start new bus route from Clearfield to State College

CLEARFIELD & CENTRE COUNTIES, Pa. —

The Area Transportation Authority (ATA) has announced that a regular commuter service from Clearfield to State College will begin Jan. 2.

The service will operate Monday through Friday and provide two trips that connect Clearfield and State College via U.S. Route 322 every morning.  The service will originate at the Hyde Park & Ride location near the Township/Hyde Building in Clearfield at 5:24 a.m./6:24 a.m. 

The route’s stops will include the Clearfield County Courthouse; Irwin Drive in Decatur Village; the Gas Light Café, the Philips Hotel, Eighth Avenue and Presqueisle Street and Cold Stream Dam in Philipsburg; and the Bryce Jordan Center and Pattee Transit Center on the Penn State University Park Campus. On-campus return trips will originate from the Bryce Jordan Center at 4:15 p.m./5:15 p.m. and the Pattee Transit Center at 4:22 p.m./5:22 p.m.
