ATV Parks

On this warm spring day, Harrisburg has come up with cold cash in an attempt to get all terrain vehicles off private property and out of state forests. The department of conservation and natural resources is in our region today, handing out over two million dollars to develop a site where ATV riders can ride. Most of that money is going to buy six thousand acres of land known as the rock run recreation area on the border of Cambria and Clearfield counties. The former coal mine is one of five sites around the state that will be developed as ATV parks.
