Autism Benefit

Haupt's House Of Volleyball

Johnstown —

More and more kids are being diagnosed with autism every year. However, a volleyball benefit game is looking to change that by raising money to help find a cure for autism and help kids living with it get treatment. Volley game organizers are looking for teams to participate in the event. Both beginners and experienced players are welcome. The benefit game takes place July 30 at 135 Fox Run in Johnstown. All money raised by players and donations during the game will be given to Autism Speaks. It is an organization which "aims to bring the entire community together as one strong voice to urge the government and private sector to listen to our concerns and take action to end this (autism) epidemic." To get an application to play in the game or to donate to the cause contact Justin Haupt, game organizer, at 814-243-0571.
