Autopsy Underway For Man Exposed To Chemical

TYRONE —

A Tyrone man died in his home Friday night after he was exposed to a chemical at work.

The Blair County Coroner's Office is waiting for test results come back to determine the cause of death of 50-year-old Lee Henninger.

According to Chief Deputy Coroner Jeff Guyer, Henninger was splashed in the face underneath his safety equipment Friday morning with a type of chloride.

He later complained to his wife he wasn't feeling well. It is unknown at this time if the chemical actually contributed to Henninger's death.
