Bandana Bandit Convicted In Centre County Court

BELLEFONTE, Pa. —

A Centre County jury convicted 33-year-old George Patton of seven counts of robbery stemming from a series of convenience store robberies that his sister testified she'd driven him to last summer. But the former Patton Township man, dubbed by police as the bandana bandit, was acquitted of charges from two other robberies that he was accused of committing. Patton could get up to 45 years in prison when he's sentenced next month. His sister, Caroll Patton, also faces charges. Her case hasn't gone to trial yet.
