Beaver Stadium Project Eliminates Seats

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. —

With the kickoff of the new season just over a month away, renovation work at Beaver Stadium is nearly complete.

A $10 million project to increase handicap-accessible seating in more areas of the stadium means a net loss of 700 seats.

That puts the stadium's capacity at just under 107,000.

It remains the second-largest stadium in the country.
