Bedford Businessman Fundraising To Feed Children In Vietnam

A Bedford business man is making a difference this Thanksgiving.

Phil Bui, 27, is fundrising to feed those less fortunate, thousands of miles away.

"By putting Hopelify out there, I'm actually going out there." Bui said. "I'm bringing the rice to them, medications. I'm physically there."

Three years ago, he raised $8,000 and travelled to his home country of Vietnam to help children in orphanages as well as families he'd meet along the way.

He's planning a second trip in the spring.

Bui came to Bedford County from San Diego, CA after a family friend opened pro Nails in the Bedford Plaza. He, his brother and three sisters through it would be a good business venture.

Bui said it also gives him more fundraising opportunities.
