Beginnings Inc. Gets New Start

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

Just seven months after flames gutted the facility a special needs center in Cambria County is showing off its new space.

Thursday Beginnings Inc. hosted the community for the grand opening of its new Ebensburg center on South West Street.

Beginnings Executive Director Paula Eppley-Newman said after the fire in January they lost everything from specialized toys for the kids to office equipment for teachers and staff.

Beginnings is a daycare for kids with developmental delays.

The new facility is larger and allows the agency to host other educational programs.

Eppley-Newman said the new start was made possible by an outpouring of community support.

Beginnings will continue to offer area families inclusive parent and child together playgroups for two and three year olds.
