RICHLAND TWP., Pa. —

A Cambria County man was remembered Wednesday morning with a final motorcycle ride.

Bryon McDermott was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday morning just after midnight in Richland Township, officials said.

On Wednesday, friends and family gathered to say goodbye to McDermott with one final motorcycle ride that passed through several communities in Cambria and Somerset counties.

Officials with the Cambria County coroner's office said McDermott was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle along Elton Road.

Another person riding with McDermott was also injured and continues to recover from injuries suffered in the crash, officials said.

Information about the person driving the vehicle that hit McDermott's motorcycle wasn't available.

Richland Township police asked anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at 1-800-281-1680.
