From one corner of the commonwealth to the other; Bill Wadell is thrilled to now call Central Pennsylvania home. Bill joined WJAC-TV's State College bureau in December 2009.

Discovering his passion for news after being interviewed at a summer camp in Scranton, Bill has been busy uncovering stories ever since. Along with writing for his high school paper, college paper and a local weekly, Bill has also worked in a number of TV newsrooms.

While still attending college classes, Bill was busy uncovering news in Uniontown, Pa., reporting for HSTV. Along with interning at WBRE in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and reporting for WIVT in Binghamton, NY, he also worked as a freelance photojournalist for WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh.

Bill is a proud graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. While taking classes at CalU, he reported and anchored for CUTV NewsCenter, including two Telly Award-winning newscasts. During his 3-year tenure with CUTV, Bill also anchored a Telly Award-winning live report during then-presidental candidate Hillary Clinton's visit to Southwestern Pennsylvania.

When Bill's not busy covering news in Central Pa., he enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, racquetball and spending time with family and friends in Northeastern Pa.
