Black Friday Shoppers Hit Cambria County

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

A little snow didn't keep bargain hunters away.

Black Friday was here and so were all of the shoppers out searching for deals.

Malls and stores everywhere were flooded with shoppers out looking for the best bargain.

Walmart in Richland Township was no exception. A mother and daughter team from Beaverdale has been up since 2:30 Friday morning.

Edna Markel said, "This is my second year coming out on Black Friday, and my daughter comes every year."

Markel’s daughter Carol Fitzgibbons told WJAC it wasn’t her first trip to Walmart on Friday, in fact, when WJAC caught up with them they were on round two.

Even with the snow and the rain, the Black Friday craziness continued at Walmart but they're not the only ones.

The Galleria saw its fair share of determined shoppers.

Hundreds of shoppers pushed their way into Bath and Body Works and it was to hunt for deals and the season’s most coveted items.
