BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. —
Blair County commissioners are still reviewing bids from potential buyers of the Valley View nursing home and said it may be another three weeks before a decision is made.
The commissioners said they are divided with the plan to sell the nursing home, but for now they are moving forward with the bidding process.
The list of bids has been narrowed from nine down to five potential buyers. Still, leaders said they have concerns that, although the sale is in the best interest for taxpayers, it may hurt employees.
