BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. —

A Blair County woman is facing charges after accusations she tied up a 5-year-old boy in her car.

Police said the child told them that Evelyn Himes tied up his arms and legs. The child said Himes also threw him to the ground, pulled his hair and hit him on the head with a spatula.

Himes admitted she has tied the boy up in the past, but not recently, police said.

Investigators said the alleged incident happened while Himes visited a methadone clinic.
