Blair County Gets Money For Flooding

Related

Flooding has been a major problem along one stream in Blair County, but county officials offered a temporary solution. County Officials announced they've come up with funding to finish the final third of the Bank Rehabilitation and Stream Restoration Project.

Two-thirds of the Mill Run flood prevention plan has already been underway, and Congressman Shuster and Senator Jubelier -- along with other officials -- announced they received the final third of funding needed to complete the temporary project. The project won't permanently stop flooding, but it will provide some temporary relief to families who are tired of their homes being flooded.
