Blair County Inmate Says "He Didn't Do It"

A Blair County man serving a life sentence in prison for killing an elderly neighbor now claims he is innocent. Christopher Yon says he entered a no contest plea in the death of Arlene Piper because his lawyer said he would get the death penalty if he didn't. According to the Altoona Mirror, in court papers filed this week Yon says he asked his attorney to appeal the no contest plea, but his attorney told him ... do it yourself.
