Blair County Man Hospitalized After Crash

 

FREEDOM TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

An East Freedom man is in the hospital after his pickup truck crashed into a tree.

It happened on Butler Hollow Road in Freedom Township.

Police said the 86-year-old man was driving a truckload of stones down a driveway when the vehicle lost traction, causing it to slam into a tree. The man was trapped for more than an hour.

His condition is unknown but he was conscious and alert at the scene, according to police.
