Elk County —
Authorities in Elk County have identified a body found in a wooded area near East Branch Lake in Jones Township. Police say they found the body of 41-year-old Todd Boardman, of Smethport, McKean County, about 50 yards from shoreline. State Police say Boardman had been a passenger in a vehicle accident April 3, and Kane State Police reported him missing April 4. Police say they are waiting for autopsy and toxicology test results before declaring a cause of death.
