Both South Fork police officers resign without giving reasons

By WJAC Web Staff

SOUTH FORK, Pa. —

South Fork borough in Cambria County will soon be without a police force.

Wednesday’s Tribune-Democrat reported that both borough officers -- Chief Scott Stoltz and part-time Officer Kelly Bolvin -- submitted their resignations simultaneously.

South Fork's mayor told the newspaper no reasons were given for the resignations, which will take effect early next month.

Pennsylvania state police will provide coverage until the borough fills the two positions.
