CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. —

Clearfield Middle School has been evacuated because of a gas leak, officials said.

The leak was discovered around 10:10 a.m. and the school was immediately evacuated, said Sam Maney of the Clearfield Area School District.

Students were taken to the Expo 2 Building and were dismissed for the day.

School buses took students home at noon or parents could pick their children up in front of the grandstand.
