Budget Impasse Pushes CAP Classes Into Summer

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

Like many other organizations, Community Action Partnership has suffered some major money cuts and now they're wreaking havoc on its programs. Some Head Start and supplemental classes will run until June 28 because school officials were waiting for funding and started late this past year.

"It really was the impasse that created hardship for children and families, so we will be extending some classes into the end of June," Community Action Partnership education coordinator Theresea Fuchs said.
