Bullying Seminar

Johnstown —

Students at Johnstown Middle School attended a bullying seminar held by Officer Bill Tittle of the Johnstown Police Department in conjunction with the school and the Y.W.C.A.. They talked about what bullying does to students and how you can stop it. They also discussed the school's rules on bullying.

Officer Bill Tittle tells Channel 6 News, "Some of the schools I've gone to have an antibullying program. Yeah it does. It really helps reduce bullying."

A couple of statistics: bullying happens every 7 minutes and by age 24 60% of bullies have a criminal record.
