PORTAGE —
A Cambria County building gutted by fire in January 2005 was finally demolished.
Last week, building owner John Simala was working toward tearing the building down.
A hearing was scheduled Monday to decide if action should be taken against Simala for missing a June demolition deadline.
However, Simala's attorney told Judge Dave Tulowitzki the building demolition was finished Saturday.
