CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

A Cambria County man who police said was beaten with a baseball bat by another man died on Wednesday.

Michael Pcola, died in a hospital, Cambria County Coroner Dennis Kwiatkowski said. Pcola had suffered serious head injuries.

Gregory Conza is accused of trying to kill Pcola with an aluminum baseball bat and is charged with attempted homicide. The charge could change in light of Pcola’s death.

Officials said, on Monday, Conzo went to at Pcola's home on Sierra Street in Wilmore Heights and got into an argument with Pcola's sister. Then, Conzo hit her in the left arm with the bat, police said.
