Cambria County Girl Missing

Internet Involvement?

Heartbreak for a Cambria County family who woke up Tuesday morning to find their 16 year-old daughter missing. Now there are unanswered questions. Did she run away or was she kidnapped?

The Glass family is sad and frustrated. Mainly due to the lack of answers they've been able to come up with as to why their daughter hasn't come home.

Lenora Glass, Sarahs mother says, We don't know what happened. We don't believe that she ran away. We'd be very surprised if she did.

When the Glass when to bed, they had no idea they'd wake up to find their daughter Sarah had disappeared. After searching their home and cars they began to panic, so they called the police.

Glass says, I think they believed she was more of a runaway in the beginning, but now we're thinking maybe she got involved with someone on the Internet and was meeting that person that night.

Sarah is schooled through the Internet, so she knows a thing or two about computers and she knows how to cover her tracks.

Glass says, Before she left, she erased everything off of the computer. We have two computers and she erased everything.

Her parents believe she left to meet this friend from the Internet in person...but she intended to come back. Her mother says she took nothing with her - no cash, no clothes. Now her family hopes Sarah can see this story to get their message.

We're going to do whatever we have to do. Anything we have to do. We want her back. Safe. We love her.

The Glass tell Channel 6 the police plan to take the hard drives from the computers Sarah used to see if they can use any of the memory to find out who she may have been talking to and where that person might be from.
