Cambria County Man Writes Palin Song

A Cambria County songwriter has penned a musical tribute Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sara Palin.

Gerry Stanek of Hasting said Governor Palin re-energized the Republican party and perhaps his own career when he wrote the song "Sara Palin."

Stanek said, "I think the song is good at showing people it's OK to lighten up about the election. I've gotten great response from Republicans and Democrats."

Stanek said he has not heard from Sen. John McCain's campaign officials, but hopes they get to hear the song. It has aired on conservative radio stations across the country.
