Cambria County Residents Take Advantage Of Hazmat Drop-Off

The Pennsylvania Resources Council helped local people get rid of household hazardous materials.

The environmental organization set up shop at Concurrent Technology Corporation in Richland Township on Saturday.

This was the fifth year the group has come to Cambria County and organizers say about 300 people stopped by to get rid of household hazardous materials.

It cost $2 per gallon to drop off hazardous materials.

Organizers said the number one thing people dropped off was paint.
