A crisis response team has been formed to help students in the Richland Area School District cope with the loss of a 14-year-old student.
Kiersten Wagner was just starting her freshman year at Richland High School when she died Saturday night in an all-terrain vehicle crash.
Police said Wagner was a passenger on the ATV when it slammed into a tree in East Taylor Township. She was not wearing a helmet.
Richland students have been advised of individual and group counseling opportunities provided at the school. Funeral arrangements had not been announced as of noon Monday.
