Camp Counselors, Scout Leader Accused Of Sex Abuse

Somerset County —

A pair of Somerset County camp counselors will be tried for allegedly playing a sex game with children.

The counselors are from the Christian camp "Summer's Best Two Weeks."

The alleged abuse occurred at the Jennerstown camp in Summer 2006.

In an unrelated incident, a former Cambria County Boy Scout Leader will remain in jail after South Carolina police filed sex abuse charges against him.

Charles Miller, formerly of Cresson, was awaiting a new trial in Cambria County on charges of sexually abusing two boys.

Miller was granted a new trial in September, and requested release from jail until that trial. However, South Carolina prosecutors filed the detainer to prevent his release.
