Cause of overnight house fire in Cambria Co. remains unknown

HASTINGS, Pa. —




The cause of an overnight fire that gutted a home in Cambria County remains unknown.

Several fire crews were called out shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday at 1280 Spangler Street in Hastings Borough.

Reports from the scene indicate crews found smoke and flames shooting from the roof of the two-story home.

Officials said it's believed the fire may have started on the second floor of the home.

A damage estimate was not known as of Wednesday afternoon.
