The community was founded in 1810.

Organizers have been busy raising money for the celebration over the past couple years.

They were able to raise around $30,000.

Another $10,000 was raised for the festival fireworks display, which is scheduled for Friday night.

The celebration starts Friday and runs all the way through Sunday night.

There are plenty of events on the schedule including live entertainment and activities for kids and adults.
