STATE COLLEGE, Pa. —
Mextorf is currently the superintendent of the Loyalsock Township School District in Montoursville.
Board President Rick Madore said it was a lengthy process, but he felt Mextorf was a standout.
"His passion really overwhelms a lot of other things. You know, wonderful guy, terrific leader. He is very involved with the Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership and developing leadership within an organization," said Madore on Monday.
Mextorf begins his role as superintendent on July 1.
