Centre County Tree Disease Likely Isolated

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. —

At Penn State, a disease that's impacted the campus elm trees may have been isolated.

So far, 54 trees have been cut down at University Park due to Elm Yellows Disease.

But that is less than the original estimate.

University officials believe the disease is isolated to specific parts of campus.
