Cambria County —

A serious car accident near the McNally Bridge in Johnstown shut down traffic in both directions of Route 219, sending three to the hospital Monday night.

All four lanes of Route 219 temporarily closed after two cars slammed into a Crane Truck. Police say the first car hit the truck while driving northbound and that car slid across the highway and came to a stop in the southbound lane. The second car hit debris along the road and crashed into the back of the parked truck.
