Emergency Crews Spend Saturday Cleaning Up After Friday Nights Storm

Cambria County —

Heavy rains and high winds are being blamed for Cambria County's storm damage. Johnstown's Moxham section had downed power lines causing crews to close off Grove Avenue for part of Saturday afternoon. Cambria County's 911 Center fielded hundreds of calls Saturday morning. Many were for flooded basements, power outages or downed trees. Emergency crews also made sure the water leves at Cherry Tree Resovoir in Northern Cambria were safe for residents after a voluntary evacuation was issued during Friday nights storm.
