Clearfield Celebrates New Year's Eve With Twilight Eve Event

CLEARFIELD, Pa. —

It's the second year for Twilight Eve, a New Year's celebration held in Clearfield.

The event includes ice sculptures, a teen dance, games for children and several bonfires.

Organizers expected attendance to be up this year, since the admission price was lowered.

They added that the idea for the event came from State College's "First Night" celebration.

About 10 ice sculptures were created for the celebration, including a throne that weighed 2 tons before carving.

According to organizers, the event is a safe way for the entire family to enjoy New Year's Eve.
