Clearfield County Community Still Low On Water

ANSONVILLE, Pa. —

The community of Ansonville, Clearfield County is running dangerously low on water.

According to officials, there is only about a foot of water left in the community's reservoir.

Residents first noticed the problem last week.

The Houtzdale Fire Department sent a tanker of water earlier this week.

But officials said the water in that tanker is running out.

County officials said there may be something they can do to help.

"We have trailers called water buffalos," said Commissioner Mark McCracken. "Municipalities can place these at their township building or borough building."
